Anxiety. Stress. Depression. Exhaustion…all of these conditions can lead to an unhealthy obsession with food. Starting from the time a person is young, food is used as a means for comfort. Almost anyone can quickly answer the question: "What is your favorite comfort food?" because everyone understands that in times of stress, having a particular food that may bring back happy memories, sooth the tummy, or even cause a chemical "high" can be a relief.
